Mestalla brimming with emotions running high
Relive the emotional events that took place in the run-up to Valencia CF-Real Betis to pay tribute to the victims and those affected by the tragic flash floods
The VCF Foundation and the INCLIVA Health Research Institute of the Hospital Clínico de València have joined forces to promote a research project on personalized physical exercise as a key to aging well.
This project, which will be developed throughout this year, will be the basis of the Mejora Program, an individualized physical activity program for people over 70s aimed at reversing frailty and preventing the risk of falls. In fact, Club members and former players will participate in the project, as a result of the collaboration with the Valencia CF Footballers' Association.
The VCF Foundation, honorary ambassador of INCLIVA since the 2019.20 season for its support to health research, will provide the Mjora Program with the necessary economic, material and human resources, so that it does not involve any cost for the participants and INCLIVA has adequate funding. In fact, the VCF Foundation headquarters, for example, will host the physical exercise program.
In the signing and presentation ceremony, held in the ROOM 1923 of Mestalla, took part the managing director of INCLIVA, Vicente de Juan, who expressed his gratitude to the VCF Foundation for this support, the director of the VCF Foundation, Inmaculada Ibáñez, who wanted to highlight the vital commitment that must be cultivated with our elders, and Fernando Giner, president of the Valencia CF Footballers Association, who was sure of the benefits of this project and program.
